Dusty's trip to the 1999 GDCA National Specialty

What an exciting week it was!

We started in el Paso, where Dusty went BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES at the Great Dane Club of El Paso Specialty Show! Thank you Judge L. Michelle Lewis! Dusty was also the Reserve Winners Dog under Judge Nancy Simmons.

 

From there we went to Oxnard, California, where Dusty went RESERVE WINNERS DOG at the Great Dane Club of Southern California Specialty Show.

Then came the Futurity competition at the Great Dane Club of America National Specialty, where Dusty was BEST JUNIOR IN FUTURITY! Thank you Breeder/Judge Mrs. Tootie Longo!

 

Dusty continued the winning streak by going WINNERS DOG from the 12-18 month class under Breeder Judge Mr. Leon Reimert.

 

But the GRAND FINALE came with a BEST OF WINNERS award from Judge Terry Goldman.

The Finishing Touch!

The January circuit began on Friday, January 7, 2000. Dusty was in fine form, going Winners Dog and Best of Winners for a 4 point major. Staying in high geat, Dusty went Reserve Winners Dog to another 4 point major on Saturday and Winners Dog for a 4th major to finish his championship on Sunday, January 8, 2000

But he didn't stop there....Dusty has several Best of Breed wins in very limited showing.
